So over the weekend, Matt cleaned up our patio area, and I think he stirred up an ant farm! There has been ants all over inside. So, me being a bug freak and hating them. I went on a sweeping frenzy! I swept all the baseboards, the ceiling, everywhere! lol And Matt went out and got ant trap things, and since we did all that, I haven't seen another ant! Thank goodness! Gives me the creepers just thinking about ants! eeewww.
We had a very relaxing Easter! We got up early to attend church. The website said that the contemporary service started at 8:45. Well we got there and thought we were going to be late. Yeah, not so much. The service was blended for Easter and didn't start until 11! So, we left and went to Walmart and got a hose and broom for the patio. And came home, worked on the patio and went back to church at 11. It was a Cantata service, and not really that interesting. But we are going back this Sunday to see if we like it there. The people were really welcoming, so we will see!
Yesterday Matt got word on what is salary will be, and I'm just gonna say its a TON more than what we have been living off of! So, our big plans for the money you ask? Well, we are going to first work on paying off our debt. And get all that under control. And soon we will be engaged, so we are going to start planning a wedding. We want it to be Oct. 2010. :) We decided to wait one more year so that Matt would have paid vacation, and we would get a tax check back from his job, and we can use that to have a pretty nice honeymoon! And also, we just really want to make sure our debt is paid and under control before we start paying on wedding bills. So thats our plan! Oh and Matt wants to get a big screen tv this summer :) Hey we gotta splurge a little! ;)
Anyway - I'm out for now! Less than 12 hours till your taxes need to be done ;)
