For some reason, my pics aren't showing up! :( I will work on it though later this evening! I have pictures of all our work outside and my hair and Sadie and Bella ~ So watch for it! :)

A puppy after my own heart!

Going back to my blonde roots...

On Friday, Matt said I could get my hair fixed. And boy, was I happy!! It was getting to be 1/2 red and 1/2 dirty blonde. Not pretty! So I went to the salon and got it highlighted. She said that would be the only way to fix it, with out pretty much killing my hair trying to get the red out! So after it was all done, I was so excited! It looked soooo much better! In 6-8 weeks she said come back and highlight it one more time and I should be back to blonde the way I want :) Yay!

Then on Saturday, Matt and I decided with our "fun money" for the two weeks, we were going to get a deck set and grill. Well got out to Matts car, and he had a completely flat tire! So he changed that, but it took awhile, cuz we didn't have a tire iron and the screw things were on really tight. And it was like 90 degrees out. It wasn't that fun... But we got the spare on it and went to Walmart. And decided to get his oil changed and get a new tire while we were shopping. So then since we did that, we decided to just get a grill instead of the deck set. (We are going to get that with the next pay check)

We came home and grilled out! It was YUMMY! And we have grilled out every night since Sat! We also are taking a break from SoS so we have been sitting on the patio in the evenings and talking and playing with the doggies! Sat night our neighbors decided to join us on the patio (actually both of our neighbors came over) and we all sat around and got to know each other! It was so much fun to finally hang out with some people!

Then last night Tyler and Ashley (one of our neighbors) came over for some Rockband fun! We named our band The Woodpark Heros! :) It was lots of fun! And since we played all weekend, I had lots of cleaning to do today!

30 Years and Counting!

Sick Puppy

So we got some weed killer, and Matt sprayed it around the edges of the "jungle" and we let it dry a few hours before we let Sadie and Bella outside. Well I think that Sadie may have eaten a weed or two, and she was so restless and whiny on Sunday night. She didn't sleep once, and she was very touchy, if I went near her or Matt or Bella, she growled. It was really scary :( But finally she fell asleep at 10am. She woke up around 11:30 or so and threw up twice. And then all day she slept off and on, but didnt eat at all. So we went out and got some puppy wet food to mix with her food. And she finally ate. And she slept a little that night. And the next day she was back to normal! Thank goodness, cuz if she was still sick, I was going to take her to the vet! I think it may have been a mix between the weeds, growing and teething. Cuz she got alot taller this weekend! So she may have just been having a growth spurt, I dunno. But shes much better and back to her playful self! :)

Shots!

I took Sadie to the vet today for the first time! She is healthy as can be the vet says! She also got her first set of shots. And they put her right to sleep! It was a nice break :) The vet is about 10 min away and she isn't the best at car rides. She keeps wanting to sit on my lap and look out the window, but she doesn't sit still, so its dangerous! So I have to hold her down in the passenger side! So on the way home, it was much easier, since she slept the whole way home! We go back in 3 weeks for her next set of shots! She weighed in at 8.4oz and she was 8 weeks and 4 days old :)

Time for an Update!

New news! Which most of you that probably read this, already know! We got a new addition to the family! Sadie the boxer mix puppy! She is 9 weeks old!

She is quite the handful! Now I know why mom and dad were always so hesitant to let us have puppies when we were younger! They are a lot of work~ and a kid probably can not take care of them that well, which would lead to mom and dad having a lot more to do, and my mom and dad were always so busy working and such... I now understand LOL ~ Anyway...

We officially have had her one whole week! She is doing really good with her potty training, and now will go to the door three out of five times she has to go. I take her out about every half hour, or if shes sleeping, RIGHT when she wakes up! One time she woke up and apparently she REALLY had to go b/c I picked her up and pee started streaming in the air, and I grabbed a towel quick and put her in it LOL ~ Shes precious! She is learning her name also finally!

Bella was really cautious of her the first 2-3 days. Bella would take all her toys from the floor that Sadie was playing with and put them on the couch (which Sadie is still to little to climb up there) and just watch Sadie whine and try to jump up and get a toy! But now, they play together, and tug on toys and run around and jump with each other! Its so stinkin' cute!
Sadies favorite thing to do now when I take her outside is run around in the "jungle" that surronds our patio! It just cracks me up and she just started doing it 2 days ago! Also, she hates to go in the wet grass, but will run right into the wet weeds and do her buisness! It is soo funny!!



In other news~ I did alot of spring cleaning while Matt had a 3 day weekend. It was much easier to get things done while he watched Sadie! We got a bag of clothes to give to Good Will and some kitchen things that I don't need or had duplicates of and some other junk we just dont need! It feels good to get rid of all this junk! :) I also planned out my grocery list and food for the next two weeks and got that shopping done! And cleaned all the nooks and crannies of this town house! I kinda wish we coulda cleaned it BEFORE we moved in but oh well!

Other than that.... Not much else is new!
